Grilled Shrimp BLT Sandwich!
Ingredients:
-2 Shrimp, peeled and deveined
-1 tsp olive oil
-1/2 tsp paprika
-2 slices whole wheat bread
-2 rashers bacon
-Small handful mixed lettuce
-1 sliced tomato
-1 pinch of garlic powder
-Mayonnaise
-Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
1. Preheat the grill to a medium heat.
2. Toss the shrimp in olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, salt and pepper to taste.
3. Grill the shrimp for 2-3 minutes each side, until cooked through.
4. Toast the bread on the grill until lightly golden.
5. Fry the bacon until cooked through and golden brown.
6. Assemble the sandwich by layering the lettuce, tomato, bacon and cooked shrimp on one of the slices of toasted bread.
7. Spread mayonnaise on the second slice of bread, and then place the mayonnaise-side down on the comelete sandwich.
