Cherry Clafoutis
The perfect summer dessert, this cherry clafoutis is light and airy with a hint of sweetness. It’s easy to make and can be served either warm or at room temperature. And what could be better than enjoying it with a glass of sparkling wine?

Cherry Clafoutis!

Ingredients:
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Pinch of salt
3 eggs
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 cups cherries, pitted

Instructions:
1) Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C). Butter a 9-inch (23 cm) pie plate.

2) In a bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder and salt.

3) In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, butter and vanilla. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.

4) Pour batter into prepared pie plate. Arrange cherries on top.

5) Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

6) Serve warm or at room temperature.
